Vintage Sterling With Love Hinged Book Necklace, 24". The book has a scrolled front with a brown rhinestone that is prong set sticking through a heart-cut out - when you open the cover it is signed With Love in Script. The pendant tests as sterling with an appx. 3.86 gr weight. It is appx. 1.25" tall with the bail and .75" wide. The chain is an alternating 2mm wide oval link with spring clasp. It is marked 830S on the link next to the clasp. The chain is not marked other than that number. It does not test as sterling, may have silver content just at a lower level. It is not magnet except for the spring ring ring is common. Age is estimated 1950's-1960's. The chain's weight is appx. 6.50 gr for a total weight of the pendant and chain at appx. 10.36 gr. Good to very good condition other than oxidation that will polish away. (W51323.1X6 SS11115 J LD 7/3/23).
