Potted in a Zun shaped vase, thick and large, globular body, slight oval body, rounded shoulder concealing gracefully to a prominent straight cylindrical neck, with flaring open lip, two ribbon handles emerging and flanked on the shoulder, raised with short splayed foot base rim and slightly concave. Warm and uniform red glaze applied to the whole surface, only the upper mouth rim and outer bottom is white glazed. Red is the most important variety of Chinaís porcelain. Jihong in Qing dynasty bright red glaze, turning red due to its copper content when fired in a reducing atmosphere. Closely copying the Ming dynasty xianhong glaze. The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark. Made in The Years Qianlong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
