The Vase potted in celestial shape vase, thick and tall, globular lower body, cylindrical neck, close mouth rim, raised on a short small round foot base slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in white base color which contrast against famille rose design color, depicted of quail birds relax surrounded with chrysanthemums flowers bloom and fresh green foliage. The quail is a ground nesting bird like the partridge and the pheasant. The fighting quality makes them an appropriate symbol for courage and a fighting spirit. They are believed to mate for life and so signify marital loyalty. Nine quail with chrysanthemums symbolizes a wish for many generations to live long together in peace. The Under base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark. Made in The Years Yongzheng Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
