STYLIZED VICTORIAN CREATION KEROSENE COMPOSITE STAND LAMP, colorless and frosted globular-form font with diamonds and dot pattern, brass stem with cast-brass lion grotesque figural handles, porcelain majolica-type short vase which is connected by handles, circular-form slate foot, No. 2 shoulder plate collar with applied insects, including beetles and flies. Fitted with a period setup comprising an E. Miller & Co. No. 2 lip burner, a stamped 5 1/8" D brass shade holder which is supported by an encircling ring around the collar, underside with impressed patent information, a colorless and frosted globular-form shade with stylized engraved fans and punties pattern, and a colorless lip chimney. Fourth quarter 19th century. 17 5/8" H to top of shade, 11 1/2" H to top of collar, 6" D foot. Shade 5" H, 4 7/8" D fitter.

Condition
Excellent overall condition with expected wear, some light denting to stem rings, light crazing to the porcelain. Setup undamaged, shade rims with normal as-made rim roughness.
