Enclosed in an acrylic case is this signed Signed Official Rawlings American League Baseball (baseball during Bobby Browns duration as President of the League, 1984 to 1994 ) by Cleveland Indians Pitcher Willis Hudlin who gave up Babe Ruths 500th Home Run on August 8, 1929. Ball is signed in blue ball point pen ink and reads in different areas of the ball Willis Hudlin Babe Ruth 500th Home Run 8/11/29 The baseball has been stored in a protective acrylic baseball box, measures 3.5 x 3.5 x 3.5 in. Baseball measures approx 3 x 3 in. Acquired in year 2005 as per the owners inventory catalog card ( included). Property of 5th Avenue Manhattan Estate corporate CEOs passion & collection of Yankee Baseball memorabilia. His most memorable game was a one-hitter against the Boston Red Sox on June 23, 1931, and of course the game of Babe Ruths 500th Home Run, which the Indians ended up winning that day. His 475 games pitched rank third on the Indians' all-time list . He was a flight instructor during World War II and later became a minor league manager as a well as the Detroit Tigers' pitching coach. He died in 2002 at the age of 96.
