INSCRIBED ON THE TITLE-PAGE. With a TLS from Burke to Robin Smiley, July 3, 1991, in original mailing envelope. Burke expresses his gratitude to Smiley for including his work in the latest issue of Firsts Magazine; he also discusses his upcoming work, including In the Electric Mist with Confederate Dead.
