Description
13" x 38" SSP sign from the "New Hippodrome Scarborough" Theatre. This sign is 1 of 2 made that was placed at the main entrance doors to the theater between 1908 and 1910. The theater's name was changed in 1910 to the "Opera House". Sign shows normal wear with edge wear and porcelain loss from age. Marked Chromo Wolverhampton.
