Title: Tramp Art Pedestal Box w Carved Acorns

Additional Information: Fine folk art - tramp art pedestal box with carved acorns. The acorn is a symbol of growth in folk art but not commonly used. The pedestal box is uniquely American made with few examples found in European tramp art. The box is in very good shape. There are signs that there were two additional acorns on the bottom but it is not noticeable. This is an early example dating to the late 19th century.

Dimension: 7.75 h x 12 w x 7 d. Hinges need pins.
