Inscription: Signed at the bottom: "Bacc: Bandinelli // N: Strixner del:", listed in Winkler: Die Frühzeit der Deutschen Lithographie, No. 965, 13.5 / Dussler p.140 No. XIII, 5. Munich 1811-16. Strixner learned engraving with Dorner in 1799. Employed as draughtsman 1803 at the electoral gallery in Munich. From 1810 he published the Oeuvres Lithographiques. From 1820 in Stuttgart.

Good condition. The image makes a very good impression. The sheet is pale foxed in the margins due to its age; verso in the upper corners with traces of an earlier mounting.
