Description: Based on the historical drama "The Life and Death of King John" in five acts by William Shakespeare, from 1595/96. Signed "W. Hamilton pinxt. / I. Ogborne sculpt.", titled in the centre below and with two columns from "Shakespeare, King John, Act 2, Scene 1".

Condition
Good condition. The paper is discoloured due to its age. The sheet is pale foxed. The image makes a very good impression. The sheet is occasionally torn at the edges and glued at the back side. Corners creased by an earlier mounting; lower right corner with a brownish trace of glue. In the area of the sky the paper is minimally thinned out in spots.
