Description
A Cast iron English pub table with marble top, with layers of old paint, having a pierced apron decorated with lion's heads and flowers, the crest of the legs decorated with a figure of a lady that leads to paw feet - the figurehead believed to be Britannia, the British symbol of National Pride, Unity and Strength. Signed on the lower shelf "Pub Fitter" but the maker's name illegible (see photos). The marble top probably an old replacement, else very good original condition. It measures 24" diameter x 29 3/4"H.
