Description

Suite of Six Polished Steel and Brass Curule-Base Armchairs

in the style of Maison Jansen, each contemporary chair with brass finials, a back with three parallel rails, dished seat and curule base, fitted with loose cushions in faux leopard upholstery.
h. 38", w. 17-1/2", d. 16"

Condition

All chairs are sturdy, stable and solid. The woven strapwork in the seats is tight. They exhibit light wear and some light oxidation. The horizontal slats on one chair back exhibit more oxidation and a less smooth surface. The cushions are in very good condition. The height of the arms is about 24-1/2".
