Ink and gold on paper Persian manuscript on paper, 4 lines to the page written in shikasteh taliq script in black, white a brown ground, ruled in colours and gold, remargined in the using different coloured papers." 16th century"The signature Muhammad Zaman Al-Tabrizi. (997 AH / 1590AD) Size: 19.5 cm x 12 cm References: Muhammad Zaman Al-Tabrizi, who was originally from Kirman but grew up in Tabriz, is recorded by Qadi Ahmad as a scribe of manuscripts as well as calligraphic pages. His only other recorded works are three calligraphic pages of which one is dated AH 994 (Mehdi Bayani, Ahval ve Asar-e Khosh-Nevisan, Vol.III, Tehran, 1348 sh., p. 740, and V. Minorsky (transl.), A Treatise by Qadi Ahmad Son of Mir Munshi, Calligraphers and Painters, Washington, 1959, p. 166).
