This is a hardcover 1966 edition of "Celestial Architecture" by artist and architect, Ernst Fuchs (Austrian, 1930-2015). The book features the original dust jacket. From a limited edition, this book is numbered 1633. Fuchs was a painter, draftsman, printmaker, sculptor, architect, stage designer, composer, poet, and one of the founders of the Vienna School of Fantastic Realism. In 1972, he acquired the derelict Otto Wagner Villa in Hütteldorf, which he restored and transformed. The villa was inaugurated as the Ernst Fuchs Museum in 1988.
From the Upstate New York estate of Marshall and Kay Lee. Marshall was a well known collector of Pre-Columbian pottery and a talented and well-respected book designer in the publishing industry.
