An early 19th century mahogany bracket clock, Denton, Hull, An early 19th century mahogany bracket clock, Denton, Hull, with an arched and painted enamel dial with subsidiary seconds and strike/silent dials, the twin fusee repeating movement striking on a bell, the case with cast gilt bronze mounts and feet, the backplate engraved, 38cm high 28cm wide Sold with Boulton & Cooper, 25 October 2006, £3,300. Provenance: The collection from the estate of the late Roy Carter Condition Report: Missing rear door. Movement not tested. Piece of moulding to base of front door raised. No key.
