Autlan-Colima Mother with Child Ca. 100 B.C.-250 A.D., Colima, Mexico. Size 3 3/4 inches high. Seated figure with splayed legs wearing a knee length skirt, holding a large child on her lap. Mother is depicted with pointy breasts, all having incised eyes and mouths. Wearing a necklace and ear ornaments. Strong scattered mineral deposits on the surface.
