Ancient Roman Tall Square Jug c.2nd-3rd century AD. Size 8 inches high. 2 3/8 inches wide. Ancient Roman Green glass jug Mold Blown, Think Strap Handle, Circular Decoration on Base with Raised Dots on Corners, Note: Yale references two types of square bottles, flattened and mold blown. Given the base, this is mold blown. Reference: Kestner Museum Hannover 23, Isings 50b, Jean-Morin 14, Yale 94, Constable-Maxwell 131, Monsieur D 462, Musee de Picardie pg 66 type 16 (great chart), GA- 6.c6 Tall Square Bottle 1-6.
