This piece is an original Ink and Watercolor on paper, titled, “Tory". In the lower left hand corner, it is signed, “SS Young”, and in the bottom right corner it is inscribed, “Tory, April 05”. The reverse is inscribed, “Tory, C. SS Young 05”. This extraordinary piece measures 11.5” x 11.5”.

Also included with this lot, is a protective sleeve that accompanied this piece, with the inscription, by the artist, "Tory, Ink and Watercolor".

This is a fine study of Scott's mastery of the art of watercolor, for which many critics liken him to Winslow Homer and Andrew Wyeth in his style.
