Antique Victorian velvet upholstered photo album with inset heart shaped mirror and stand, 1880s-1910s.

The photo album measures 9" x 11" [22.9cm x 27.9cm]. It has 17 two-sided pages + 1 one-sided; they can hold 60 [c.4+- by 6+- inches] photographs + 15 small photographs [tins]. There are seven larger antique photos; 5 tins and one smaller photograph in this album [see pictures].

The corners of the front cover have a brass molding attached, depicting heart in a triangular design. The inset heart-shaped mirror is surrounded by beaded trim in the same metal. The velvet shows some wear, especially front side of the album; the brass parts have some antique patina. Each page is made from heavy cardboard covered with colored paper and is bound to the cover with a canvas-like fabric. The pages and photo cut-outs are trimmed with gold; The back of the album has a hinged metal bracket which fits over the metal stand. The album and stand are in good to very good condition.
