Description
Set of Eleven Japanese Kenjo Porcelain Plates, Dai Ming Manreki Nen Sei, Imari or Arita, Mid-Nineteenth Century. Comprising three 8 in. plates and eight 8.75 in. plates, each painted with a bird perched on a berried branch above blue and gold Viburnum blossoms, within alternating peony and tapestry fabric panels, the reverse painted with a network of alternating blue and red ornamental spheres and tasselled devices, six character mark in underglaze-blue. H: 1.25 in., Diam: 8.75 in.
