Antique Egyptian Hand-Carved Mashrabiya Frame Inlaid With Mother of Pearl. Here, intricately carved lattice-worked side panels display the traditional mashrabiya woodwork with inlaid Mother of Pearl at each corner. An Open Frame suitable for either artwork or mirror incasement. Circa 1870. MoP missing in a few areas - see images. Size: 47 cms x 41 cms ( 18.5 ins x 16 ins ). This lot is part of a family heirloom collection of Dr Hassan Y K Ghaly in Saudi Arabia and the UK.
