Description
Four American Folk Art Paintings, Late Nineteenth-Twentieth Century. Comprising a papier mache plate, depicting a mostly submerged frog observing another wearing red fishing waders and rowing a leaf, affixed with an "A.S. USSMANN, 262 SIXTH AVE., bet. 16th and 17th Sts., N.Y.," paper label and a label "Patented August 31, 1880;" and three oil on canvas pictures, unframed, depicting a squirrel and Scarlet Tanager, an owl in moonlight, and five kittens observing a mouse swimming across their bowl of milk. Frog plate: H: .75 in., diam: 7.5 in. Kittens painting: H: 10.25 in., W: 14.875 in., D: .75 in.
