Description
Two American Painted and Molded Papier Mache Masks, The American Mask Manufacturing Company, Findlay, Ohio, 1928-40. Comprising a gorilla and a tiger, each affixed on the interior with a "Manufactured by THE AMERICAN MASK MANUFACTURING COMPANY, FINDLAY, OHIO, U.S.A." label; an owl, attributed to the American Mask Mfg. Co.; a small mask of an elephant, lined in London newsprint; and a small rooster mask. Gorilla mask: H: 14 in., W: 9.5 in., D: 11.5 in. Tiger mask: H: 15.25 in., W: 17 in., D: 15.25 in.
