Three watercolor paintings of ancient Greek monuments on the Acropolis including the Parthenon, the Erectheion, and the remains of a colonnade. A wonderful ensemble of watercolor paintings that pay homage to the beauty, history, and culture of the Acropolis in the Classical World. All are mounted behind glass in matching custom wood frames with beautiful whitewash finishes that complement the ancient ruins perfectly. Size (Parthenon sight view): 9" L x 12.625" W (22.9 cm x 32.1 cm) Size (frame): 15.5" L x 19.2" W (39.4 cm x 48.8 cm) Others are similar in size (just slightly smaller) but of portrait format rather than landscape.

All three paintings are signed at either lower left or lower right corner. Signatures are difficult to decipher. Artworks are mounted behind glass in custom frames and have not been examined outside the frames but appear to be in excellent condition. Frames are also very nice save minor scuffs and minute nicks here and there. Fit with suspension wire and ready to display.
