In sturdy and usable condition. Some fraying in tapestry, but controlled and with backing beneath it for finishing. The tapestry appears 17th century, not original to the bench. Parts of the turned walnut elements and peg construction seem 18th century but the bench is probably later adapted with some newer elements. Scattered age cracks, discoloration and other wear from use and handling. Additional images available upon request.
