Description
The violin with label: "Copy of Antonius Stradivarius / Made in Czecho-Slovakia"; c. 1918-1945. CONDITION NOTE: There was a crack under the bridge area, which was excellently repaired, with a support post (repaired in Berkeley, CA, c. 1970s). The tailpiece and chin rest are currently detached. The bow with an octagonal stick; stamped "G. Rudi Steinel" above frog, and "GERMANY" on shaft. The silver-mounted ebony frog with a mother-of-pearl Parisian eye, and inlaid to end of the three-part adjuster; c. 1970s. Condition very good.
