Antique .935 Silver Lorgnette Opera Glasses on 58" .800 silver Chain, 1800's-Early 1990's. The glasses are marked .935 silver on the underside of the nose piece. The glasses measure appx. 4" across the top. The nose piece on top has a textured decorage design and is hinged with a button on the handle keeps the lenses together then flipped to release - the lenses are appx. 1.5" round with a handle that has a decorated tapered design with scrolls and a fancy tapered bail where the 58" chain attaches. It is a curb link that is appx. 2mm wide with a watch clip attaching to the spring ring and through the bail of the lorgnette. It is marked .800 silver on the inside of the clip. Very good condition other than oxidation that can be polished. Very good condition for the age other than the oxidation. The lenses have light wear but better than many of this age.
