Created in the style of Carl Faberge, Hummingbird Nest trinket, jewel box egg. Enamel & gilt over pewter, with embedded Austrian crystals. The vine & branch footed egg opens on a hinge at center, with magnetic closure, to reveal an enameled interior with a tiny hummingbird nest filled with baby birds being fed by the adult hummingbird. The outside of the egg decorated with sunflowers & a tiny hummingbird holding a crystal at top. 4 1/4" H X 2 1/8" D. Comes with gift box.
