Description
French. 1880-1890. Tin body, material covered. A pouncing tiger automation made by Roullet and Decamps, a French toy manufacturing company which specialized in making automata during the 19th and 20thcenturies. Turning the key, the winding mechanism causes him to turn his head, crouch slowly and then pounce. The tin plate body has been covered in white, yellow and black striped fur. Whiskers and glass eyesembellish the face. Material over tin plate. NOT Tested working. NO key. Condition: 9/10. 7"H x 16.5"L x 4.25"W. NEEDS CLEANING FEW SMALL TEARS
