The 1949 edition from Robert Frost was his personal keepsake, and is signed with a lengthy handwritten inscription: "Dear Harry [Owen], This is meant to sound like [strong?] New Year‘s resolutions such as those only have to truly who aren‘t doing as well as you say you are..."(the difficult-to-decipher inscription goes on for another 4 lines or so, and is signed, "Ever yours, R.").
