"Sevres" Style Posy Basket c.1870, the oval pierced body, with plump leaf to the top edge and a mottled shaped panel to both sides, a large high handle bound with straps, all upon an oval leaf scroll pedestal base, 10"w, 6 1/2"h.This shape is an 18th century Sevres porcelain shape. Only two known majolica examples.
