Mat stamped "A.M. Allen, Artist, Pottsville." -- Seated portrait of a well-dressed couple, the woman holding a cased image in her lap. (Some spotting and blemishes to plate, with small area of tarnish to lower right corner; original seals.) Housed in a fully separated pressed paper case (fully split at spine, surface wear throughout). The woman also appears to wear a crucifix necklace, a pair of drop earrings, and a large ribbon in her hair. -- Seated portrait of a couple, the woman's face being completely scratched out. (Heavy scratching to woman's face and body, spotting, tarnishing, and some detail softness to plate; no preserver present, unsealed.)
