What had been a elaborately carved German fruitwood hanging medicine chest has been converted c. 1900 to a dollhouse by putting lining and shelves creating some built-in cabinets within the interior. Front of the dollhouse swings forward allowing one to enter and insert and remove items as desired. Comes with two boxes full of furniture, accessories, dollhouse dolls and allows for a change of scenes from time to time as there are more small things to play with than there are room for all to be present at the same time.
