Description
A porcelain bottle or vase with intricate over glaze enamel paintings of two elderly figures by the sea and two cranes flying in the distance. The glazes feel very soft. Gilding has been used to accent the design.
There are two characters in the center of the base. The foot ring is very soft and unglazed. The base is glazed.
MEASUREMENTS
5 ¼” (13.3 cm) tall x 2 ½” (6.4 cm) wide x 2 ½” (6.4 cm) deep. Weighs 6.4 oz (180 g)
CONDITION
There are no breaks, chips, or cracks. There are a few painting flaws with color spots and places where paint is missing. The gilding is in very good condition.
A very intricately painted bottle or vase that will be a Japanese accent in the home.
