Description
An antique Japanese white porcelain vase. Late Meiji or Showa era, before 1920s. Footed round vase with decorative handles. Decor includes ornamental gilding, blue accents, hand-painted floral medallions. The obverse of the vase is garnished with a hand-painted portrait of Marie de Medici, 1575 to 1642, the Queen of France and Navarre as the second wife of King Henry IV. Green crowned hallmark NPSK Dow Sie Cot Ure is on the bottom. Collectible Decor, Nippon Ware And Export Porcelain.
