A 19th-century well-carved Anglo Indian rosewood/padauk wood two-door bookcase, c.1850s, with pierced and floridly carved parapet above the carcass carved in low relief with birds browsing upon Indian strawberry (potentilla indicia) bushes, The carcass supported with whimsical naïve carved couchant lion fore supports. 140 cm wide x 56 cm deep (at the foot) x 215 cm overall height.
