Overall good condition with scattered scuffs, scratches, nicks, shrinkage cracks, indentations, and separation at joints commensurate with age. Silver inlay overall good condition with tarnishing commensurate with age. Several inlaid pieces of shell are missing from their intarsia. Additionally, the camel bone framing of the lid is deteriorating, and several pieces are missing.
