Description
This miniature spyglass - also called a monocular pocket telescope - dates to the early 19th century and features lovely silver-beaded mother of pearl inlay. Case unscrews below 4th and 7th draws for cleaning and lens replacement. Apparently unmarked. Dimensions: H 4" x Dia. 2" Condition: Wear consistent with age and use. Light tarnish, slight denting to edges of silver plate. Some surface scratches to glass lens and eyepiece. 00129
