Eugene Cernan, John Young or Thomas Stafford A pair of photographs depicting Apollo 11's planned landing location, including a view of the 6-km Crater Maskelyne G and Diamondback Rille branching off into a fork [AS10-34-5154] and the exact location of the future Apollo 11 landing site [AS10-34-5156], Apollo 10, 18-26 May 1969 Two vintage chromogenic prints on fibre-based Kodak paper, 25.4 x 20.5 cm (8 x 10 in), with A KODAK PAPER watermarks on versos (NASA/North American Rockwell) Footnotes: The crew of Apollo 10 located the future Apollo 11 landing zone (still named Apollo Landing Site 2 at the time) in the southwest part of the Sea of Tranquillity and observed the approach from different angles in this sequence of photographs taken successively on the same orbit as the spacecraft was following its westward orbital path. North American Rockwell was NASA's prime contractor and manufacturer of the Apollo Command Module.
