Description: 116 pp. 4 color illustrated plates, plus drawings throughout. 26x17.5 cm (10¼x7") half tan sheep and gilt-lettered boards.Presentation copy inscribed by the author to Elbert Hubbard ("The Fra") on front free endpaper: "Merry Xmas to the Fra, from W.E. Wroe Dec 1914. You can't print all the books you know." With a typed letter describing the provenance of the book. Purchased by a prior owner in 1965 from Bert Hubbard, the son of Elbert Hubbard, founder of the Roycrofters, which hand-printed their own books. Hubbard was known as "The Fra", hence the inscription. The book was Limited to only 25 copies published for members of the expedition in which Blomfield, an English artist resident in Chicago, participated, along with Wroe and several others. Rare.
