Atellan Tales is the incredible series of pens issued by Marlen in three versions, corresponding to the main characters of the tales that inspired the original Italian comedy.
The three pen versions are made of a different ebonite colour, with silver trims and rhodium-plated steel nib (fine, medium or bold). Each version comes in Business or Magnum size with piston filler.
Pappus , which comes in yellow and black livery, embodies the vicious old man. This is the libidinous man who is also stingy: in his constant search for money, he is always cheated, especially by his own wife. In fact, Pappus' wife was known to cheat on him with young and penniless men for whom she stole from her husband.
