DESCRIPTION: Report on the Birds of Pennsylvania. With Special Reference to the Food-Habits, based on over Four Thousand Stomach Examinations. By E.H. Warren. Printed in Harrisburg by E.E. Meyers. 1890, 434 pages. Includes 100 color plates of birds. PROVENANCE: Custom rebinding in black leather for General and author Edward James Stackpole (1894-1967), with name stamped in gilt on front. MEASUREMENTS: 9-1/2” high x 6-1/4” wide.
