A lovely contemporary orange glass vase with cherry blossom floral design by Daniel Salazar of Lundberg Studios. Signed on the bottom, dated 1997, and numbered 091216. Salazar has earned a fine reputation for his delicate and natural look in floral paperweights, as well as birds, underwater scenes and abstract glass works. Much of Salazar work has taken inspiration from his interest in botany and the collecting Asian art and antiques. His work has been exhibited at several museums and has become part of their permanent collections including De Young Museum, The Smithsonian Institute, and Art Institute of Chicago, to name a few.
