Pair outstanding and rare extremely carved and inlaid chairs with relief carved ivory and exotic hard woods. The carved ivory reliefs are truly outstanding with Tutankhamun. seated while his queen serves him. Copy of one of the chairs found in his tomb. The originals were painted carved wood. These have carved ivory. All original in a painted finish, circa 1954. Size 22 x 25 x 41. Seat height is 20.25. Purchased at auction from 20th Century Fox Studios then donated to a university museum.
