Description
This cap features a steel blue crown with a black mohair band, all piped with silver bullion. The crown has a bullion Luftwaffe eagle on the front, and the band has a bullion winged wreath surrounding a national cockade. Silver bullion chinstrap terminated by pebble finished buttons. The visor has a black exterior and a brown underside. The sweatband is brown, and the interior lining is a silver/gray rayon. The diamond shaped sweat shield has one rounded end and is marked in silver ink on the inside "OFFIZIER KLEIDERKASSE BERLIN GES. GESCH. EREL Sonderklasse Extra". CONDITION: cap generally shows light wear, but is a bit soiled. The sweatband shows wear at the lower edge. The interior lining has some sweat stains.
