BIOGRAPHY:
Mille (Mildred Carol) Funk studied illustration for three years at Pratt Art Institute in Brooklyn, N.Y. After graduating and a stint working for American Artist magazine an in the advertising art field, she moved to a ranch in Freemont Valley, California. Then a final move to Oregon in 2004. She was a professional, realistic Western and Wildlife artist and teacher, whose work was used by Leaning Tree cards, Western Houseman and Quarter Horse Journal covers. Mille's painting were very detailed and her sculptures were life-like. Her works can be found in private collections and corporate collections throughout the U. S. and abroad.
