Massimo Siragusa is an Italian photographer known for his work in both the commercial and artistic realms. He was born in Catania, Sicily, in 1964. Siragusa began his career in photography in the late 1980s, working as a photojournalist for various Italian newspapers. He eventually shifted his focus to fine art photography, developing a style that emphasizes a minimalistic approach to composition and a strong use of light and shadow. Siragusa's work has been exhibited in galleries and museums around the world, including the Museum of Contemporary Art in Rome, the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris, and the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography. He has also published several books of his photographs, including "Voyage en Italie" and "Il Velo."
