Vintage Set of 3: footed scalloped edge creamer and sugar bowl on a tray, each item in the set is marked by Nils Johan, Prima NS, Sweden. Folkhemmet Style- Scandinavian Modern, 1950s.

The tray is c.9" x 5" [22.8cm x 12.8cm]; silver plate; the footed creamer & sugar bowls are c.2" [5.1cm] tall and c.3" [7.6cm] across at the top; silver plating outside, light gold plating inside providing a fine yellow coloring; a little patina and a little wear from the cleanings, very good condition.

The collectible Nils Johan silverware originated in the 1880s as Nilsson och (and) Johansson. Nilsjohan was a Swedish manufacturer of kitchen accessories. The company was founded in 1888 as Nilsson och Johansson, but changed its name to AB Nilsjohan in the 1950s. Their products were associated with the 20th-century Folkhemmet movement.
