KENTUCKY FEDERAL INLAID CHERRY CHEST OF DRAWERS, rectangular top over four graduated dovetailed drawers with period brass pulls and line inlay, raised on bracket feet, front with cut-out skirt, solid ends. Poplar secondary wood. Retain an old surface with warm color. Circa 1820. 37 1/2" H, 42 1/2" W, 19" D.Â
Catalogue Note:Â Descended within the Frazer/Redd/Gaitskill families of Kentucky and inherited by Elizabeth Redd Gaitskill, daughter of Oliver Frazer Gaitskill whose father, Oliver Frazer Redd was the great grandchild of Kentucky artist Oliver Frazer.
