STAFFORDSHIRE AMERICAN VIEW TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC COVERED SOUP TUREEN, featuring "BELLVILLE / ON THE PASSAIC RIVER", as printed to underside, depicting sailboats on calm water with a fisherman in foreground and church-like structure in background, and cover featuring New York Bay scene. Additional marks to underside include printed American eagle with shield and banner with "E PLURIBUS UNUM". Enoch Wood & Sons, Burslem, England. 1818-1846. 10 3/4" HOA.
